IADMT offers annual paid memberships and free student memberships for individuals and organisations interested in becoming part of the IADMT community and supporting our vision and mission of Dance Movement Therapy in India. By becoming a member, you can avail of various Benefits offered for the different Membership Types like standing for Executive Board Elections, participating in or leading a Committee, staying updated on DMT related news, and more. All active members are registered annually with IADMT in accordance with the guidelines of the Tamil Nadu Societies Registration Act, 1975.
Along with Professionals and Students in the field of DMT, we welcome the support of our Allied Associate and Organisational members in furthering IADMT's vision and mission. No community can thrive well without allyship and we value the contributions of our allies.

Paid memberships are due to be renewed annually between 1st July and 31st July for your membership with IADMT to be considered active. To avail of the full benefits from day 1, we encourage members to renew as early as possible. However, if life takes over (as it often can), please feel free to renew at any time in the year with the full annual fee for your membership type.
Eligible students can apply to become Professional Members at any time in the year. Read below for more details on becoming a NEW Professional or Allied Associate member. Or write to us at membership@iadmt.org for queries about the Organisational membership.

Eligibility Criteria & Application Documents
Confirm your eligibility for membership and ensure you have the accepted documents ready for your application:
Professional Membership: Graduated from/completed a Ph.D., Master's degree, Diploma, or Certificate course in Dance Movement Therapy. Documents accepted: Certificate of completing the program.

Student Membership: Currently enrolled in a Master's degree, Diploma, or Certificate course in Dance/Movement Therapy. Documents accepted: Student ID card of the DMT institution/organization whose course you are enrolled in, OR Letter of acceptance/admission into your DMT program, OR a receipt of payment for your current DMT program. Any one document from the abovementioned is sufficient.

Allied Associate Membership: Any field of work or study other than Dance Movement Therapy, keen on supporting the growth of Dance Movement Therapy in India. No documents are required.

Organisational Membership: No documents are required.

Aspiring NEW applicants for Professional and Allied Memberships, please note:

We appreciate your enthusiasm to join IADMT without a long wait and we are now offering prorated memberships for all new applicants! Prorated memberships allow you to become a new member of the IADMT at any time in the year and avail of benefits offered in that time period.

This prorated fee structure is only applicable for NEW applicants and cannot be availed by past or current Professional or Allied Associate members of IADMT while renewing their memberships.
The Membership Fees mentioned above are exclusive of Razorpay's applicable convenience charges for online transactions.
